Wow this August Mountain Biker Wedding was Fire
This Corduroy Inn and Lodge Summer Wedding was nothing less than awesome. Olivia and Chad are both hardcore mountain bikers and live in Breckenridge. Despite that being a glorious place for mountain adventures, the couple had some roots in WV ad simply adore Snowshoe. The second they said they wanted to do some party bike laps at Snowshoe’s famous bike park after their August wedding I was sold. They rock! Big time. And of course they did it in their wedding attire.
The day started with the usual getting ready and all that jazz. Then we got in Chad’s truck while hiding Olivia in the back and headed to the airport. If you know anything about Snowshoe then you know. At the airport we pulled a lovely mountain vista first look followed by some amazing couples portraits. I let them mostly do their thing and helped them with a few poses. Following this we made our way back to Corduroy for bridal party et al. Afterwards, it was ceremony time!
The Mountain Is Calling
Corduroy Inn and Lodge Summer Wedding are best when you use the mountain to its fullest potential. So, following the ceremony on the deck, we made our way back in the Corduroy van with the lovely JimEd and bopped around the mountain for more couple’s photos. DO THIS NO MATTER WHAT! I know this mountain better than most wedding photographers so advantage was made for booking me. We went to some main gems plus some low-key treasures I use. Then it was back for party time!
After the sunset and rise, I met back up with the couple for some next day bike park laps! This was SO much fun. And another highlight that sets me apart from my colleagues – I’m a great mountain biker and skier. So we took some runs for some unforgettable photos. Enjoy!
