Relaxed wedding overlooking the Meadow and Gauley rivers
This Fall Confluence Resort Wedding was something special. The couple, Sophia and Frankie, were really sweet. This Morgantown couple booked me the previous year and I was beyond stoked to document their relaxed wedding at the Confluence Resort in Hico, which is only 12-minutes form my home. However, I don’t shoot there as often as I’d like. It is an amazing venue.
The day started with my assistant and I doing details and getting those finishing touching photos. I love the details big time. Sophia was in small bridal suite in the reception area with her bridesmaids and close family members. While Frankie was sort of milling around with his groomsmen. Following this we get ready for the ceremony at their main overlook, which overlook the confluence of the Meadow and Gauely Rivers- thus the its name. Its such a lovely view, but gosh that light can be tricky at times. The ceremony was sort and sweet and we quickly knocked out the family and bridal party shots before the couples formal photos. Finally, we got around the large property to some key features with the ever helping hand and golf cart from the venue’s owner, Pervis, he is something special.
Party On!
After the formals and into we moved to the toasts and dinner. Fish Hawk Acres knocked it out of the world. Seriously the best caterer in the state and probably region. Book them. Link is below. Following this, we got the party started with the coupled opting for their own please list instead of a DJ. Not too bad. I loved this wedding so much.
