What a Sweet Engagement at Endless Wall Trail in the New River Gorge
This New River Gorge engagement is just so dang sweet. Julia and Zach booked me for their wedding at Blackwater Falls State Park in 2025 and the couple wanted to do their complimentary engagement at Endless Wall Trail in the New River Gorge. I simply love shooting here and I said “hell yeah!” lets do it. This Baltimore couple were so easy and chill in front of camera. As a wedding photographer, you don’t always get couples so relaxed and easy to photograph. Julia and Zach killed it.

Endless Wall is just magic. It is a such a great trail with some killer climber access views and of course the gem Diamond Point overlook. Though its not always the best spot for couples photos. Why? Its packed. Its crowded in the peak months and weekends. Parking can be at times a bit dicey – though there is a new large parking lot. However, this evening it was special. There weren’t many out for this early fall day. When we got to Diamond Point it was rather vacant – which is aces! Its also rare.
We made some photos along the rim of the Gorge waiting for the sun to get lower and the light a bit softer and gold. The light was just perfect. You don’t always get such lovely light with some soft color on the tress, though we got pretty lucky. This couple are climbers and they were all about getting the best perspectives on the cliffs. I cannot wait to document their wedding in 2025, but until then enjoy these photos below.
