Catherine and David’s early October wedding at the University of Charleston was just right. I first met these two for their engagement session at Carnifax Ferry Battlefield State Park. These two were so relaxed and easy to get along with. I had a feeling their wedding would be in the same vein. It was simple and sweet. We started with getting ready in the university’s Riggleman Hall and moved on to the first look outside. First looks are always awesome! and make for great photos. We moved on to family and wedding party shots .
The ceremony was excellently officiated by Matthew Anderson, check him out, he is awesome. After the ceremony we went right into the couple’s portraits and the reception. My assistant, Billy Wolfe, helped me capture their day and we had a blast with these two. Below are some of my favorites from their day.
