This lovely Davis, WV wedding photographed by Chris Jackson with Tara & Andy was such a joy to photograph. I cannot say it enough – I love Davis,WV. I love documenting weddings there. If you are looking to have a wedding in any of the great venues or locations in Tucker County please, please reach out! Tara and Andy’s wedding was perfect. Pendleton Point is definitely a top 5 West Virginia wedding locations in my opinion and I have shot dozens of weddings there and they are always awesome. The state park is also super helpful in planning and having weddings in various locations. If you need suggestions or tips on venues, planners and caterers message me.

The day started with the two getting ready at some of the newer cabins by Pendleton Point. Then we made our way outside for a first look then over and down to Elakala Falls for some per-ceremony couples portraits – which is so gorgeous there I recommend it. Then back to Pendleton Point for the ceremony. It was so thought out and so simple yet beautiful. Tara put a lot of thought into everything and even made her own dress. Yes! The reception followed with some top-notch catering by Fish Hawk Acres and dancing and drinks all night. The first dances well well thought out with Tara having a dress skirt made to be ripped away showing a dress that is more sleek for the reception. It was pretty awesome how they timed the removal during their dances. I hope you enjoy the photos!
