Chill country vibe wedding at the gorgeous Confluence Resort

This Confluence Resort wedding in Hico, WV, showcases one of my favorite wedding venues. Luckily it is super close to where I live in Fayette County. It has everything one could want in a wedding venue. Tons of open space. A gorgeous overlook. Ample luxury cabins and a newly built timber-framed great hall. Its everything all in one. Autumn and Blake’s June 2021 wedding here was the first one I have worked since the completion of the hall and I must say I was hella impressed.

The new hall has a bridal suite in it for getting ready and that is where I met Autumn. One of the best things about this venue just a few miles from Fayetteville, WV, is the overlook. Its pretty much known for that in terms of weddings. It overlooks the confluence of the Meadow and Gauley rivers, respectively. Its so pretty. As you can see in the photos below it was a nice sunny day and that left he colors of this wedding rich and vibrant. After the ceremony and formalities we the reception was held around and in the new hall. It felt very much like a home and so inviting.

I’m a big fan of this venue and I am looking forward to more weddings here at.
