Foxwood Inn Wedding West Virginia

What an absolutely perfect venue Foxwood Inn is in Raleigh County, West Virginia. When Mariah and Matt told me they were looking into getting married there I was pretty stoked. I haven’t shot there before, but knew it was on my local list for venues I wanted to work at. The site, which is WAY out there, along some lovely gravel roads, features several large houses available for guests as well as ample views of sweeping mountain ranges and gorgeous ponds. It was perfect for a June wedding.

Mariah and Matt are chill. We first met up for an engagement session in the New River Gorge and had a blast jumping around the area for photos. They were amazing to work with then. So, I knew their wedding day would be super laid back. The day started with the venue not having power, haha! So, a little bit of chaos is normal for a wedding. Once the power popped back on and the final touches were set we were ready for the ceremony. Outside, the clouds kept the shadows to a minimum moved the day along just right.

Cathedral Cafe did a fantastic job catering the event and the fantastic band, The Company Stores, provided an excellent mix for the night.
