Rustic farm wedding at Glade Creek Farm by WV Wedding Photographer Chris Jackson Photography.
Elizabeth and Jason were meant for each other. From their love of adventures, being outside, and traveling to new places, its hard to imagine these two ending up with anyone else. When Jason reached out to have me photograph his wedding at Glade Creek Farm I knew it was going to be fun. From a canoe filled with craft ales to his truck decked out with a bed in the back for their immediate honeymoon out west, this wedding was always going to be my type.
When I arrived Elizabeth was getting her finishing touches with her bridesmaids above a room in the main reception area. It had lovely window lighting and gave a soft feel. Jason rolled in with his guys and helped them get their last touches. Guests were beginning to head to the top of the farm’s large hill where they have many of their wedding ceremonies. It is a indelible sight. Bridal party rolled in on a hay wagon pulled by a large John Deere. It was awesome!
After the ceremony, family photos, bridal and couples photos, we headed back down the hill to the reception area. For a relaxed wedding, this venue has it all. The typical formalities carried on with a charm. Before the night was over we raced out for a sunset session and a fun portrait of them in their soon-to-be home for the next few weeks – Jason’s truck. Below are some of the photos from their day.
