Intimate wedding on the rim of a the New River Gorge National Park

Caitlin and Adam’s New River Gorge Wedding is just perfect. Small. Chill. Intimate. Say less. It was a pure no nonsense wedding. The couple just wanted their friends to have a party in Fayetteville, WV. And they did. The ceremony was held at the stunning New River Gorge Preserve Overlook, which has a stellar view of the the famous bridge. About 80ish friends and family members joined them to watch a brief exchange of vows. Then it was off to Burnwood.

Burnwood is the party Spot

If you know anything about the New, than Burnwood has always been the spot to party. With so many past rendezvous and events being staged there it is no wonder why Caitlin and Adam opted to have their wedding reception here. With lots of beer by the beloved Bridge Brew Works and family made deserts and food it was a intimate and beautiful reception. As the sun shown through leaves in mid-Autumn, the air was crisp and the vibe just right.

Its always nice knowing so many of the guests as well, which usually makes covering a wedding as an outside feel more like an insider. As a guest.Ask anyone that shoots weddings and they will say those are the best. It also makes you work a little harder because you never want to let your friends down.
