Winter Magic for this Stunning Pair
Lets talk about a Narnia-esque Snowshoe couples session. Snow does not always hit in Snowshoe in the winter. Its just ta part of living in the mid-Atlantic. Despite Snowhsoe’s big 4,848 foot elevation, we simply just do not get the type of snowfall we use to a couple decades ago. However, when it does snow it is usually big and powdery. For Jessica and Richard’s couples session up on Cheat Mountain it came with some fury.
Jessica and Richard had a short courthouse marriage and wanted some nice portraits of them in their wedding attire and opted for the Pocahontas County peak for this Snowshoe couples session. They truly were the sweetest couple. So tender and caring for one another despite below freezing temps and whipping wind. We made it around to some new spots for me for shoots and I cannot express how happy I was with this session.
Welcome to Narnia
Snowshoe couples sessions can be such a magical place and in the top pines above Top of the World you can find some remote-yet-not scenes that hark back to the famed work of fiction. There aren’t lions in the pines but there are some scenes of enchantment. Snow covered pines and patches of green moss breaking through the snowy ground just seems to make these photos unreal.
They say its location, location and sometimes that is all you need. But this couple never stopped smiling and helping one another and honestly I could not have hoped for a better pair in front of camera. Looking to book a Snowshoe session, please reach out. We will make it fun and magical.
