Sultry engagement session in Thomas, WV

This Thomas, WV, engagement by Chris Jackson Photography conveyed the perfect sense of love between these two in the hot mountains of Tucker County. Tesla and Sam booked me for their wedding in the Summer (blog to come soon), but we dialed in a late Spring session in Thomas. I’m so glade we did. These two are perfect for each another. We first met up at Tip-Top coffee shop, which is a must if near the small towns of Thomas and Davis. They also have a second shop in Elkins. We had decided on shooting at and around Douglas Falls. There are so many waterfalls in the highlands of West Virginia and in this area specifically, but Douglas was something they wanted to see and so did I.

Tesla & Sam are dog people. Mega dog people! They brought their two pups with with as they are always with them and wanted photos included with some of them. I love photographing couples with their dogs and always open to it. Bonus if you’re dogs are super chill. We had a nice session around the falls and got to know one another. I highly recommend engagement session when possible if you are booking me as it allows us to meet and get use to being photographed.
