This relaxed vibe Thomas, West Virginia, wedding is simple, gorgeous and tailor made by the bride, Ahleah. Ahleah hand-made her dress. Not only did she hand dye the linens. She also grew the flowers and hand dyed the table linens. It was perfect. Ahleah and her husband Dustin, who reside in Elkins, decided to get married at Camp Horseshoe in Tucker County because Ahleah went there in her youth. Dustin said it was the only venue they looked at. Furthermore, at the time, Camp Horseshoe had never hosted a wedding and this is the first one held at the site along the Cheat River.

After getting ready, Dustin came to meet Ahleah for a quick get together. Furthermore, they opted to walk down the aisle together – which I loved! After a quick family session we made some time for couples portraits. I cannot stress enough how important it is to allow for more time with family and each other on your wedding day. This time is often the only times you will be around such a mass gathering of family that photo-time is paramount to capturing them.

The light and delicious food paired well with beer supplied by Big Timber Brewing out of Elkins. Lastly, the rest of the night was all about vibing out with family and friends, yard games, drinks and snacks. This is definitely one of the most chill weddings I have documented. Its a testament to how rad and laid back Ahleah and Dustin are.
