Fun engagement session at Carnifax Ferry State Park.

As a West Virginia wedding photographer, one of the things I love most is getting to work at new locations. When Catherine suggested Carnifax Ferry Battlefield State Park in Summersville, I was stoked. I had briefly been there before, but never for any kind of a session. It had a lot to offer. I am documenting Catherine and David’s wedding in October and we finally made time to get their e-session out of the way. I highly recommend doing a engagement session with your wedding photographer as it is a great opportunity to get to know each other and to feel comfortable in front of the cameras during your wedding.

At the Nicholas County state park, we worked a few good vignettes from trail, to the tree lined road to the stick-style fence – which I loved! The place was great. Below are some of my favorites from their session.
