Susan and Ben’s Khimaira Farm wedding in Luray, Va., by Virginia wedding photographer Chris Jackson was nothing short of perfect. The venue was simply marvelous. There is a reason why Khimaira Farm is voted one of Virginia’s best wedding venue’s year-in-and-year-out. Susan and Ben both got ready at cabins close by, but not on the site of the venue, which gave them a little but of privacy before the start of their day. The two cabins were down a long gravel road about 1 mile from the farm.

As the two got their final touches on their attire, Ben made is way up from a lower cabin for a first look. These two make such a sweet couple. After the first look we made our way down for some quick family sets at Ben’s cabin. Then we were off to Khimaira Farm.

Corina amd the rest of the crew at Khmiaira Farm had the place dialed in. I haven’t seen a venue with so much attention to the details than this one. It looked amazing. We continued with larger family sets as guests began to arrive. The ceremony site, right from the main reception hall, has a breathtaking view of Shenandoah Mountain National Park. It was the perfect backdrop for Susan and Ben.

The ceremony was short and had everything these two needed. We had a quick couples portrait around the property, including their old tractor and round bales. Then made our way into the reception hall for dinner and partying. As the night moved on we wanted to get out and try a sunset shot. It was as dramatic of a sky as we wanted, but it gave a nice nightcap to the day. Below are some of my favorite shots of their wedding!
